Hypnosis for the mind. Breath for the body. A map for the day.
Breath of™ Hypnosis is a clinical hypnotic-somatic method. Its three pillars each do one job, are intertwined and interwoven, and each supports the next.
The three pillars
| Pillar | Works with | What it looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Hypnosis | Every level of the mind | Guided clinical, content-free hypnosis (except for some 1:1 programmes where requested) and hypnotic language, and practices you learn to use on your own. |
| Breathwork | Every level of the body | Calming breath practices. They settle the body so the mind is free to drift and work. |
| The Embodiment Map™ System | Your life, day by day | It carries the work out of the session and into the hours you actually live: an intention held through the day, at three touchpoints. With them come the workbooks and the journaling: a personal history of, and plan for, your own journey. |
The Embodiment Map™ System
A session can open something. What happens in the hours after decides whether it is released, refined and/or embodied. The Embodiment Map™ System is built for those hours.
It holds one intention through your day. These three touchpoints are where it meets the day.
The Morning Ground
You set an intention for the day. Raw is fine. It is a starting point, not a promise.
The Daylight Touch
A couple of times a day, a couple of minutes each with your breath. You touch the intention again, and let it adjust if your body says it needs to.
The Evening Embodiment
You land the intention as it now stands. The day has refined it. What is left is closer to what you meant. This is what you record.
It moves forward in small, easy steps. There is no facing up to anything, no naming, no reliving, and no guilt for a day you missed.
What changes when nobody asks for the story
- Nothing has to be said out loud. Not to a practitioner, and not to a group. And you are never asked to write it down for anybody but yourself.
- Nothing is relived. The work goes to the pattern held in the body. It does not route through the event.
- It works when you do not know what it is. No diagnosis and no explanation is needed from you.
- It can reach what you did not live through. If a pattern was there before you were, there is no story for you to tell. A method that needs the story cannot touch it. This one does not need it.
- No memory is shaped. Nobody asks for a narrative, so nobody can lead one.
- You cannot get it wrong. There is no wrong answer and no wrong thing to choose.
- What you never disclose cannot be kept. Nothing here requires the story, so it need never be written down, stored or regretted. What we do hold, and where it goes, is set out plainly in the privacy policy.
- You find your own starting point. Nobody hands you a goal that is bigger than you can imagine today. You are guided to see the future you can imagine as possible for you, and that is the strongest starting point there is.
It is also why the recorded sessions are the proper form of this work and not a lesser version of it. A recording cannot hear a disclosure. Here it never needs to.
Calming practices only, when you are on your own
Everything you do without a practitioner in the room uses settling breath practices: coherent breathing, an extended exhale, box breathing, and the physiological sigh. No strenuous activating or extremely fast breathing is used in self-guided material.
